About
Micayla Bourette, PMHNP-BC
Micayla is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who began her nursing career after graduating from Worcester State University in 2019. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from MCPHS University in 2022. From 2022–2026, she worked in a community mental health setting, where she provided psychiatric care to individuals living with serious mental illness. During this time, she also provided psychiatric evaluations for individuals experiencing significant mental health crises while receiving care in a crisis stabilization unit. In 2025, Micayla opened Hope & Harmony Psychiatry to provide personalized, compassionate psychiatric care while creating greater flexibility to balance her growing family. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a faculty member at Maryville University, where she teaches and mentors psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner students. Her clinical experience allows her to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care for a variety of mental health conditions.

Micayla does not offer stand-alone psychotherapy appointments, but she integrates practical therapeutic strategies, lifestyle recommendations, and education into treatment for comprehensive care. It is recommended that in addition to meeting with Micayla, you also meet with a therapist.

Initial Medication Management Evaluation
This 60-minute appointment is designed for new patients seeking services and includes a thorough mental health assessment. During this time, we will discuss your current concerns in addition to your psychiatric, medical, social, and substance use history, so that treatment recommendations can be tailored to your specific needs.
